One of the Things on My List is getting my pilot's license. I suppose I'd have to get in a plane like that at some point though, eh?

I got to ride in a similar one (technically 8-seater, including pilot & co) waaaay back in 1997 during the flood in Winnipeg.

During pretty much take-off, a young lass in the front started hurling. Now I can handle a lot of disgusting things, but the smell of barf is not one of them. Fortunately, one gentleman *could* deal with her and it was the best I could do to just keep watching the horizon and concentrate on not barfing myself. I apologized profusely, explaining that if I did help, they'd have two of us to deal with.

So aside from that hiccup, I remember it being spectacular. I had seen images of the flooding, but to see all that water with my own eyes was quite overwhelming.
